About Elecorn

Hi, I'm Mike Smith!
I've been writing game engines and making indie games since the late 1990s. I founded Elecorn (Elecorn LLC) in 2005 so that I could have a company to distribute video games and other software I've written. The name "Elecorn" comes from combining the names of two of my wife's favorite creatures, a real one (elephant) and a fantasy one (unicorn). I achieved some notoriety after releasing Caster in 2009 and porting it to multiple platforms including Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, PalmOS, and Nintendo 3DS. I've been working on Keys of Fury since 2017. It started as a simple proof of concept to show it was possible to make a typing game that was actually fun. After demonstrating the prototype to players, I felt I had hit on something significant and decided to develop it into a complete game.
