Frank Earl has just finished the build and packaging for Caster on Linux! This is particularly interesting as Caster was initially developed under Linux and later ported to Windows, Mac, and iPhone.
You can download it here:

Hi Mike, I have a funny anecdote I thought I’d share. My coworker sitting next to me has recently been playing Defense Grid: The Awakening at work. I’ve simultaneously been playing Caster for a few days. Neither of us had ever heard of or were interested in one another’s games. Then we came here and found out that you have done both of them! Ha!
What are the odds? I was amazed at the coincidence.

Ha! Yeah, that is funny. Defense Grid is still on sale at Steam for the same price as Caster ($5) for one more day, so grab it now!

@Falko :
I had this problem when user rights on caster folders and files where not set to my own user. Try to check if your user is the owner of caster directory.

Purchased and played through. I have a few nits with graphics that I’ll wait for the forums to work out, but it is an excellent game. I generally don’t like download only games, but it’s hard to argue given the price. I like your work and I’m hoping you bring more of it to Linux.
Thanks,
Edd
