I pay monthly fee for my online games, my console games, cable tv , the movies i watch, etc. heck i even payed "extra" for my Ubuntu Dell laptop, when they had an offer for the same one with Vista $50 cheaper (at that time). So i actually payed for my "free" OS (and know of many others). i think what most linux users had lacked is "time". As developers we've been so buried into our own projects that we forget to even play a nice game. Now that am not so much into my own proj, (or fixing/tweaking much my OS thanks to it's maturity) and more as an avg. joe, i got free time to look into other people's creations and support those available in the platform. so, just like those mastercard ads, helping out a fellow user and indie dev is "priceless" :) @Bacioiu Ciprian
